I love this pin! It's a little metal shape (probably forged by Gronald the wet) with a pointy bit on the back. I was a bit worried that one of the Scazzle brothers might try to stop it from being delivered because of the whole blood feud fiasco (must be Tuesday, right?🙄), but there was no sign of them or ANY of the foreboding smells and ominous creaking sounds that usually foretell their arrival. My precious pin is safe, and let me tell you, it is a FINE piece. A real knockout. Scores of eligible PhD candidate lungfish have approached me to inquire where the purported tomes are, but I've been able to rebuff them with a swift "can't you see I'm peefin'?“ and they have let me be. The pin has an elegant yet understated sheen, almost more of a feeling than a visual thing.
Like a taste, kind of? A bit of a subtle, nutty glow like aunt Carol's gumdrop loaf. If you hold it up to your ear, you can LITERALLY hear the dusty old tomes calling to you. Calling, of course, from the third floor basement of the Crannery-BrookSfield librarium where they reside under the care of Dr. Agniss Whatabowlofchili, whose meticulous care and tireless attention ensure that the dust levels are maintained exactly as the times demand as per the Tome Particulate Guidelines Symposium of June 1347. What sets Dr. Agniss apart from the other library practitioners is that she carriers the original calfskin folio of the guidelines wherever she goes for easy reference. She has this whole lanyard system set up--it's really something!
Anyway, yeah, the pin is great. You should probably buy one while Gronald is still swingin' the ol' hammer. He's got to be getting close to retirement age.
Superb! Magnificent! The knowledge astounds even I!
